Finland Is The Third Most Competitive Country

World Economic Forum (WEF) has once again ranked Finland as the third most competitive country in the world. The numbers one and two were Switzerland and Singapore respectively. WEF praises Finland for instiutions' functionality in economy and society, basic education as well as healthcare. Improvements should be done regarding the small size of the market, weaknesses in overall economic environment and ineffective labour market. WEF investigates long term competitiveness, meaning Finland has much potential for long range economical growth. (Source:, 4.9.2013)
