Vaskiluodon Voima inaugurated the world’s largest bio fuel fuming plant. The plant uses annually about 9,000 truckloads of wood chip. The wood chip is collected from the surrounding woods.
Minister Lauri Ihalainen claims that this reduces the usage of coal and increases the usage of domestic energy. He also states that the aim of the government is to lift Finland to the top list in renewable technology.
