Based on the statistics by the Finnish Venture Capital Association a total of €636 million was invested into Finnish companies during January-June 2015, while the corresponding amount was €270 million in 2014.
Out of the total €403 million was from international private equity investors. There were a total of 157 transactions and one of them accounted more than a third of the total amount. A lot of the money went to growing start-ups in Finland. (Source: www.goodnewsfinland.com, 17.9.2015)
