Finland's Foreign Trade On Groceries From January To September 2011


The value of grocery exports in Jan-Sep 2011 was, according to foreign trade statistics, EUR 1182,3 million which is 16,2 per cent higher than the same figures in 2010. The main industry export products were cheese, alcoholic beverages, butter, pork, sugar chemistry products and coffee.

The value of grocery imports was EUR 2905 million which is 14,7 per cent higher than the previous year. The foremost import products were alcohol beverages, fruits, raw coffee, cheese, vegetables and fresh fish. (Source: Finnish Food and Drink Industries’ Federation, 5.12.2001)
