Finnish Healthtech On Strong Growth Track


Finnish healthtech sector keeps on growing as the field reached a new record high year with €1.92 billion exports in 2015. This means a growth of 6.6 % from 2014. The sector designs, develops and manufactures most of its products in Finland, directly employing over 10 000 people.

Finnish companies’ strengths lie in in vitro and electronic diagnostics, healthcare systems, software development and security solutions, x-ray and radiology equipment, as well as wireless products and solutions. The most important export partners for the field are European countries, USA and China.
